Any non-badged individual must be cleared to be escorted – normal sight AND sound control escort rules apply. NOTE: These individuals must carry on their person a state or federal government-issued photo REAL ID (non-expired) or a "federal limits apply" state or federal government-issued photo ID (non-expired) with a second form of identification at all times while being escorted.
The SECC requires submittal of a color photo ID. For individuals that you propose to escort within the Sterile/Secured Area, submit a legible, focused and bright color photo of each individual’s valid (not expired) state or federal government-issued photo ID, e.g., CA Driver License (REAL ID) or a "federal limits apply" state or federal government-issued photo ID with a second form of identification such as a U.S. or Foreign Passport or birth certificate. The entire ID must appear in the photograph; i.e., the top edge, bottom edge, left side edge and right side edge must be shown in the photo. All information must be clearly visible.
Note: A minimum of two (2) working-days advance notice is required, i.e., the requestor must submit the completed SECC form at least two (2) working days before the proposed work commencement or visit date. This two (2) working-days advance notice is exclusive of weekends and Port holidays. If more than 20 people, please submit separate requests in groups of 20.
SECC approvals will be issued the day prior to the scheduled escort. For escorts scheduled on weekends or holidays, approvals will be sent out on the preceding business day.
